Be Prepared to Enter Heaven

At the midpoint of Lent we recall the greatest gift God has given after the Redemptive Incarnation - the Holy Eucharist. The Gospel tells how Our Lord prepared the people for this Sacrament by the miracle of the loaves and fishes. By reception of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ we are given the foretaste of heaven and so every Holy Communion is a preparation for our entrance there.
