When designing a rosary to honor Our Blessed Mother specifically under her title of Queen of Heaven, the Carmelite Sisters chose bright blue kyanite beads with sterling silver and gold components.  Kyanite is a vibrant blue crystal, slightly translucent, with several subtle shades of blue.  This was picked up the by Our Father beads, sterling silver with gold plate and detailed blue enamel floral designs.  These beautifully intricate Our Father beads add a royal and feminine touch to the rosary.  While the Miraculous Medal (also known as the medal of the Immaculate Conception) is the centerpiece of most rosaries, we thought it especially appropriate for this one.  On the front we see Our Lady of Grace, with the rays of God's grace coming from Our Lady's hands.  The back of the medal also shows Our Lady's "M" handing upon the cross, as a reminder that while she is Queen she is also dependent on and subordinate to her Son.  From the center of the rosary hangs a sterling silver crown, and the two-tone sterling and gold floral crucifix ties together all of the other elements of the rosary.
