The Book of Psalms is a collection of religious songs, many of which are poems. As part of the Bible, they were composed under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to aid us in life. They teach us about God while helping us to pray to Him. The psalms in turn console and comfort us. The reading of the psalms by one of our priests is moving and devotional. Be uplifted in prayer by the words given us by the Divine Paraclete.
